Stopped on the Tyne.

Taking the East Coast train line seems like a good idea cause there’s wireless which means I can do asinine stuff like post photos to this blog live from the train. But it’s broken down three times so I’m gonna be well over an hour late. It just stoped here, right on the bridge, for about ten minutes. Not enough time to run down to the Baltic Gallery but it did provide this lovely celphone-snapped view.

The final product. This isn't so much a true merger of indian food and pizza as it's just channa paneer in a deep pizza shell. Further research must be conducted to fully integrate the "Indian" and "pizza".

Gonna sprikle this with fresh cilantro, and then eat the thing. Back later.

I made some channa masala which is the "main" part of the pizza. This is fairly standard recipe - a sprinkling of hing, and just a spoonful of this weird "Burmese vindaloo" paste thats been in my fridge for awhile. But just a spoonful.

An attempt to merge indian food and pizza.

I wanted to top this with paneer so i fried the paneer lightly with some tomato puree and a hint of harissa.

rich hall!

holy shit rich hall has a new documentary! i didn't know he was still around! 'vanishing america' is a total classic.

"Hilarious" photos of me eating pizza, pt. 3.

This was another "deep crust" pizza baked in a cast-iron skillet, this time with roasted red peppers, tofu, jalapenos ....

Visualizing the commit history of the PostgreSQL database project. (geeky, yes - it's the music that really makes it for me).

Part of me wishes I had gone to see My Bloody Valentine, even though I rarely get super excited about reunions.
